What is SkillPractica?
SkillPractica is a practical-skills learning platform for Sri Lankan learners. Courses are designed to help learners understand clearly, practise what they learn, and build skills they can use in work, business, and professional life.
Who is SkillPractica for?
SkillPractica is for professionals, career builders, entrepreneurs, and other learners who want practical skills they can use at work. It is designed for people who prefer clear guidance, practical learning, and useful outcomes over theory-heavy courses.
What does practical learning mean?
Practical learning means going beyond watching lessons. Depending on the course, learners may complete guided activities, practice tasks, and other work that helps them apply what they learn.
What language will courses be taught in?
Courses will be taught mainly in Sinhala, while important English terms used in the industry will also be explained. This helps learners understand the subject clearly and use the right terms confidently in day-to-day work.

When will courses become available?
SkillPractica is currently preparing its first courses. Confirmed launch details will be shared with early-access members.
What subjects will be offered first?
SkillPractica’s initial focus is Data & Analytics, AI & Productivity, and Technology & Software. Specific courses are still being developed.
Are the courses free or paid?
Pricing will be announced before enrolment opens for each course. SkillPractica is being developed as a premium, curated learning platform.
Will I receive a certificate?
Certificate and course-completion details will be confirmed before enrolment opens. SkillPractica’s main focus is helping learners understand, practise, and apply useful skills.
Early access and privacy
What does early-access registration provide?
Early-access members receive first-course announcements, updates on upcoming learning areas, opportunities to share which skills they want to learn, and selected pre-launch news. Registration does not guarantee course access, free enrolment, or special pricing.
How is my personal information handled?
Information submitted through SkillPractica forms is used to process your request and communicate with you about relevant updates. More information is available in the Privacy Policy.
Instructors
How can I become an instructor?
Experienced industry professionals can apply through the Founding Instructor Programme. Applications are reviewed based on professional experience, practical relevance, teaching potential, and alignment with SkillPractica’s quality standards. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
How will instructors be selected?
Applicants are reviewed based on relevant professional experience, practical knowledge of the proposed subject, ability to explain concepts clearly, teaching, training, or communication experience, and alignment with SkillPractica’s course-quality standards. Commercial and production terms will be discussed with selected instructors.
Is SkillPractica currently accepting instructor applications?
